Please join us for Discovery Day to discover the hidden gems of the Brokenhead Wetland Interpretive Trail. Learn about aboriginal medicinal plants and culture along the way. The orchids and insect-eating plants will be at their best by this time. The trail is wheelchair and stroller friendly (no bikes, dogs, or ATVs allowed). Amenities include washrooms, picnic tables, and handicap parking. Help to support this amazing community jewel!

Admission includes lunch and a guided tour. Lunch will include a BBQ hot dog, bag of chips and water. Canned drinks available for $1 and cookies for $2. Please order tickets ahead of time at info@debwendon.org so we can estimate the amount of food to buy. Tickets may be purchased on site the day of the event, but food may be limited. You may also bring your own lunch (but please state this when you order your tickets).

Interpreted tours start at 10 am and continue until 1:30 pm depending on demand. Lunch will start at 11:30 am. You may have lunch before or after your tour. You do not need to be there at 10 am as tours start continuously depending on available tour guides and demand. You may need to wait a few minutes before the next tour starts. A tour takes approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
