The trail is closed for the season — watch for re-opening in May 2017.

Thanks to everyone who visited the trail in 2016. Let us know if you have any comments or suggestions by going to our Comments page.

During the off-season feel free to park at the gate and walk in unless there is construction going on. Our planned project to fix the potholes in the parking lot will not start until the spring.

If you have been to the trail and would like to donate, you can click on the Donate button on the Homepage, or go to the Shopping page and do it there. If you are looking for that special Christmas or holiday present, consider ordering one of our vintage Bergman prints. At $80 they are a wonderful example of H.E. Bergman’s art and we have seen some of his art listed in an auction inventory at $300. The woodcut prints are all of plants that grow in the Brokenhead Wetland. Note that the fiddlehead fern is now out of stock. Since we do not have operating funds, your donation or purchase will go a long way to helping us pay for our Director and Officer insurance, website, office supplies, and promotion. Thanks!
