Hope everyone managed to get through that long winter relatively unscathed. Nevertheless we didn’t have much snow and now we have to worry about drought. Always something to make life interesting! We are looking forward to the first spring flowers and then the orchids!

The seasonal opening of the trail and parking lot will be Friday, May 18th. The trail will be open from 8am to 8pm (or dusk, whichever is earlier) until Wednesday, October 31st. As usual please, no dogs, bicycles or ATV’s on the trail and pack out any garbage. There are garbage and recycling bins by the washrooms at the trailhead. If you are interested in a guided tour please send an email to info@debwendon.org. If you are going as a family or individual please consider making a donation through the Donation button located further down on this page. All donations are much appreciated and help to cover our operational costs (insurance, website, promotion, etc.) As a registered charity we can provide tax receipts for donations of $10 or more. Thanks!
